Passionate about education’s role in creating flourishing futures, Teresa is a trainer with Compass Education, a non-profit equipping schools for a sustainable future. With Compass education since the inception, Teresa has been developing materials for educators and facilitating workshops for teaching and learning and whole school transformation since 2009.
Currently, she also works with young people at NIST International School in a variety of capacities: as a teacher of MYP English and DP Psychology, and coordinator of the MYP Service & Action Program and the Global Citizen Diploma. Previously, Teresa worked with students as a PYP homeroom teacher at the International School of Tianjin in China where she also served as the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Coordinator.
Teresa believes deeply in the power of collaborative networks. Most recently, she worked with the JUMP! Foundation to lead the Global Citizenship Summit for educators. Teresa is also co-creator of the Bangkok ServICE Network, which inspires, connects and empowers students and educators in the Bangkok-Pattaya region. She co-organized the inaugural conference for the network in 2011.
To maintain her personal well-being, Teresa travels, practices yoga, and looks after a feisty cat who uses human toilets.
